Once again, the famous Dragon Den will be operating during all lunches at least once a week during the school year. What is the Dragon Den? It is a little “shop” located in the cafeteria, staffed by parent volunteers, where the kids can go to buy school supplies and novelty items with their hard-earned Dragon Dollars. Right now, the Dragon Den is seeking donations of a few specific items:
The Dragon Den also welcomes contributions of the following NEW items:
- Mechanical Pencils (size 0.7)
- Lead refills (size 0.7)
- Stress balls
- Fun erasers
- Gel pens
- Key chains
- Pencil pouches
- Lunch boxes
- 3-inch binders
- Other fun items you think your kids would enjoy
Volunteers are needed! Volunteer your time in the Dragon Den and get a window into middle school life! Have you always wanted to see what’s going on at your child’s school? Now’s your chance! Come observe lunch firsthand and meet the kids your kids are with every day. If you’d like to volunteer, please contact Teresa Porath firstname.lastname@example.org. Shifts run during lunches from 11-1:30. Come for one, two, or all three!
