On Friday, June 7, 8th grade students only are invited to donate their uniform clothing items (uniform-approved shirts, sweatshirts, pants, shorts and skirts) to the Dragon Closet for students to use next year. Items should be clean and free of holes/tears.
The Literacy Committee is partnering with the Student Government Association (SGA) to build awareness of clean water access and raise funds for water bottle stations at AMS.

Still Making Summer Camp Plans? University of Maryland Has Exciting Pre-College Programs for Middle and High School Students.
Calling middle school students completing 6th and 7th grades who want to learn more about cybersecurity. Learn about App development, wearable technology, build your own computer with Raspberry Pi and participate in collaborative projects to solve problems. The camp runs June 24-28 at the Anne Arundel Community College Center for Cyber and Professional Training in Hanover, Maryland.
The program is fully funded by National Security Agency and the National Science Foundation and is provided at NO CHARGE to selected applicants.
