The Bates Middle School 5K - our annual school and community Run/Walk - is THIS Saturday, May 3rd.

Online registration at http://www.active.com/annapolis-md/running/races/bates-5k-2014 is available now! Online registration will end at 6 pm, Thursday, May 1st. Or come and register on Saturday morning at the race.

First 200 runners/walkers who check in on Saturday get a t-shirt!

The Bates 5K is here again! This Run/Walk is open to all ages and abilities - parents, neighbors, teachers and of course, students - Bates and all students are encouraged and welcome! Come on out for this fun morning - with guaranteed sunshine as it has been in each of the past years.

When: Saturday, May 3rd

Where: Bates Middle School track - behind the school

Time: Run/Walk starts at 8:30 am - Registration starting at 7:30 am - Warm ups/Stretching by Crossfit Old Bay at 8:00 am.

· Bates students are free!

· $25 Adults/$30 on Race Day

· $15 Teachers/$20 on Race Day

• bagels, bananas and CLIF BARs after the race

• Massage Therapist available after the run for free chair massage

• Community Fair inside the Bates track all morning
