Career Day for 6th Graders April 3rd, Volunteers Needed!

Class of 2020 Families: Springtime at AMS brings many fun events. One of these events is a Career Fair for 6th grade students. This year the Career Fair will take place on April 3rd. The entire day will be devoted to exposing students to various careers and the path to obtain these careers.

The 6th grade students have completed career interest inventories and researched different careers in the classroom and in the media center. Each student will get a schedule of 4 or 5 speakers to visit on April 3rd. The schedule will allow students to hear speakers that match their inventories and research. Each student group will have approximately 10 students. The small groups allow for a more intimate setting that promotes asking questions of the speaker.

Please email me if you would like to be a part of our Career Day (EWESTLEY@AACPS.org) as a guest speaker. The more volunteers the richer the experience will be for AMS students. Speakers are asked to be at Annapolis Middle School from 9:45 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.
