We hope you can join us for our Dragon Cafe event, tomorrow, Wednesday, April 10th at 6:30 PM in the Team Teaching room at Annapolis Middle School! This is a talent showcase where music students can perform songs of their choice. Even if your student is not performing, our whole community is invited to attend for a night of music, food, and fun!
Preparation for the upcoming 2019-2020 school year is already in the works by the AMS PTSA! The candidates for our officers (President, Vice President-Communications, Treasurer, Secretary) were announced at our April 4 meeting and will be elected during our May 2019 meeting. We are pleased to introduce the following candidates:

- 2nd Vice President (Communications) – Jess Pachler
- Secretary – Angela Brisbane
- Treasurer – Kate Treatman-Clark

AMS PTSA President
AMS will administer PARCC tests on the following days. Please do all you can to ensure that your child is present and on time for their test dates.
PARCC ELA (English Language Arts):
- 6th grade: Apr 24-25
- 7th grade: Apr 29-30
- 8th grade: May 1-2
- 6th grade: May 7 -8
- 7th grade: May 9-10
- 8th grade & Algebra 1: May 13-14
Honor Roll Ice Cream Reward Party
Please join the Annapolis Middle PTSA in congratulating the AMS students who made the Honor Roll or Principal’s Honor Roll for the 2nd marking period. The quarterly Honor Roll ice cream reward party will be held on Wednesday, April 10. Each grade will be served separately.
There are two ways that you can help:
1. You can donate ice cream toppings and drop them off in the school office on or before Tuesday, April 9 (any perishable food items can go into the office refrigerator). The students LOVE adding the toppings to their ice creams!
2. And/Or you can volunteer to help set up and serve the ice cream toppings from 12:30 until 3:15 p.m.
