Three years ago, I wanted to be involved when my son went to middle school. I went to my first AMS PTSA meeting when my son was still in elementary school. During my son’s 6th grade year, I served as Vice President. For the last 2 years, I have served as President. Now I have a rising 9th grader and can’t believe how fast these 3 years went.
To my old AMS Board – thank you for all your help these past 2 years. We are well aware what we did and went through to do those things – and I wanted you to know how much I appreciate your help and your time.
To the new AMS Board – have fun and do great things for the students and staff at AMS.
To all parents of AMS students – please try to find time to get involved in efforts and events at AMS, either through PTSA or the school directly. Though it’s a lot of hard work, our students deserve the effort.
Last, to our promoting 8th graders – good luck in high school and I can’t wait to see you all walk the stage as 2022 graduates!
I am excited to leave AMS on its way to its long needed HVAC retro-fit, which I’m sure future students will enjoy. I hope the AMS community continues to grow next year!
Angie Carroll, President
Annapolis Middle PTSA
